Introduction to South Beach Bartending School

History
Derek Fonseca established South Beach Bartending School in December of 2001. After graduating from Harvard Bartending School in Boston, Derek moved to Miami Beach where he bartended at some of the most famous establishments on South Beach including, Liquid, Living Room, and Nikki Beach. With ten years of bartending experience under his belt he decided to open South Beach Bartending School.

His vision was to provide students with proffesional training in the fundamentals and the art of mixology South Beach Style. Included in the curriculum are recipes for over 100 of the most popular South Beach cocktails. South Beach Bartending School has an open door policy allowing students to practice behind the bars anytime. South Beach Bartending School has been training and placing bartenders in jobs not just in Miami but all over the world!

Objective
The objective of this program is to teach students the industry standard skill needes to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a proffesional manner. Our classroom bar setting provides students with all the necessary bar supplies and equipment needed to understand the fundamentals of bartending. We recommentd this program to anyone desiring a career or part time employment in the catering or bar industry including nightclubs, restaurants, bars, special events, hotels, resorts, or simply for themselves.
Hours of Operation
The business office is open Monday-Friday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Classes are in session from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Tuition Cost $295.00
Total Program Cost $495.00
Payment Schedule and Payment Plans
A $100.00 deposit is due at the time of signing the application for admission and to recieve your books and materials. In order to reserve a seat for the upcoming class the student has the option of paying the tuition cost in one of the following options:
>> Paid in full prior to attending the first class.
>> Paying the balance of the tuition in two payments.
>> All payment plans are to be in writing and agreed upon by both parties, and all monies are to be paid prior to completion of program.
Job Placement Assistance
Job Placement Assistance is available for those students who complete the course successfully. In most cases, South Beach Bartending School gives the students updated Job Leads which include names and addresses of possible employers, while also arranging interviews. South Beach Bartending School assist students with job placement to the best of its ability and not guarantee employment.
Graduation Requirements
A Certificate of Achievement and BAR card is presented to students who have successfully completed all requirements. Attended 40 class hours, fullfilled all school obligations, and passed the practical bar exam and hands on bar exam.
